A trip to the NGH Shell in the 11000 block of Main Street in Fairfax landed local resident Rozina Bhatti a $500,000 jackpot after she grabbed a Bags of Cash ticket and scratched her way to the big win.
According to Bhatti, when she and her husband go to a store, they like to play a lottery game with whatever spare change they may have - and that strategy paid off in a big way.
The shell-shocked winner claimed her prize this week, simply stating "I'm so excited ... I'm so happy."
Bhatti said that there are no immediate plans for the winnings, though there is now some extra spare change if they want to go for a second big win.
The chances of winning the top prize in this game were 1 in 612,000, though the game is no longer available for the time being after the final top prize was claimed.
